Make it your default PDF app
Open a PDF from WhatsApp or Files, choose Lark PDF Reader, then tap Always.
Why does it ask for All files access?
Only for All PDFs, which lists every PDF on your device. Without it you can still open PDFs via Open with, Recent, and Add folder.
Password-protected PDFs
Enter the password from the sender; banks often use your date of birth.
Is everything really free?
Yes. Every feature is free, with no ads and no subscription. The Support button in Settings is for voluntary donations; it unlocks nothing.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. All processing, including OCR and AI, happens on your device.
